Ex "Beauvais" Hoard, #12.
The "Beauvais" Hoard of 339 coins was discovered near Paris and appeared at auction, Glendining's sale on November 4, 1987. The hoard comprised English issues of William II - Stephen, Scottish coins of David I and continental ecclesiastical issues (including coins of the Bishops of Beauvais after which the hoard was named). There were only 15 coins of this type in the hoard.
